Heat map of US citizens at or below poverty line per census block

This image shows the distribution of US citizens at or below the poverty line per census block.  At the bottom and to the right of the map you can see that the population for whom poverty status is determined is 42,597,883.  It should be noted that the highest concentration of people determined to be at or below the poverty line are located in the South Eastern corner of the United States.   This data is American Community Survey (ACS) Data provided by the US Bureau of the Census.
